The Work and Its Origins

Tautahi Ascension emerged through the meeting of two disciplines.

One formed within complex organisational systems, shaped by years in corporate finance, project leadership, and operational environments where clarity, timing, and stability under pressure mattered. These systems trained discernment, structure, and the capacity to hold responsibility across moving parts.

The other developed through the body. Dance, movement, breath, and somatic education offered a parallel language for rhythm, integration, and internal organisation. Over time, the body became a site of architectural intelligence rather than expression alone.

These lineages converge through the work as a single field of practice.

Methodological Ground

The methods I design integrate movement, breath, and energetic architecture to support coherent communication across physical, emotional, mental, and subtle systems.

This work is informed by:

• formal training in Hatha, Vinyasa, Yin Yoga, Yoga Nidra, trauma-informed facilitation, and sound-based modalities
• long-term study of somatic patterning, nervous system organisation, and subtle body architecture
• lived application across leadership, athletic training, and complex life transitions

Each framework within Tautahi Ascension is developed as a living system rather than a fixed programme.

Cultural Lineage

I am Māori of Aotearoa New Zealand.

This lineage informs how time, continuity, responsibility, and intergenerational knowledge are held within the work. Cultural inheritance is treated as structure and obligation rather than identity performance.

How the Work is Held

The work is delivered through private one-to-one practice, ritual-based frameworks, and occasional immersive formats.

My role is architectural rather than directive.
The work supports individuals who operate with responsibility, complexity, and creative load, offering conditions where internal organisation can stabilise and refine over time.
