The Integration Threshold® Health, Safety & Participation Policy

Purpose

The Integration Threshold® is a registered trademark nine-class energetic and movement-based programme programme involving movement, breathwork and energetic practices designed to support multidimensional integration through physical, emotional, and energetic coherence.

This policy outlines the responsibilities of both facilitator and participant to ensure every session is conducted in a safe, grounded, and supportive environment.
It exists to protect participant wellbeing, maintain professional standards of care, and uphold the integrity of the energetic field.

1. Participant Responsibility

Participation in this programme is self-directed and voluntary.

By enrolling in The Integration Threshold®, you acknowledge that you are choosing to participate in a programme that combines physical movement, breathwork, meditation, and energetic techniques.

You agree to:

  • Participate only when you feel physically and emotionally stable enough to do so.
  • Communicate openly about any injuries, health conditions, or relevant medical history before your first session.
  • Honour your body’s limits, resting or modifying movement when needed.
  • Take full responsibility for your own physical, mental, emotional and energetic wellbeing during and after each session.

This programme does not provide medical, psychological or therapeutic treatment and is not a substitute for professional care.
If you are under the care of a health professional, you should seek their approval before beginning.

2. Facilitator Responsibility

The facilitator, Stacey Ormond-Stirling, commits to:

  • Providing clear verbal guidance and demonstration of all movement sequences.
  • Offering safe modifications for a range of bodies and abilities.
  • Maintaining professional boundaries and confidentiality at all times.
  • Holding a structured and supportive environment that prioritises physical safety and emotional regulation.
  • Refusing or pausing participation where physical, mental, or energetic safety may be compromised.

3. Physical Touch & Consent

Some classes may include gentle, non-invasive physical cueing or adjustment to support alignment and safety.
Consent for physical touch will always be requested verbally and the response will be respected.
You may decline or withdraw consent at any time without explanation.

4. Injuries or Discomfort During Class

If you experience pain, dizziness, emotional overwhelm, or any form of distress:

  • Stop the movement immediately.
  • Notify the facilitator as soon as possible.
  • You may be guided to rest, modify, or discontinue the session if necessary.

Continuing to participate against advice or while unwell is at your own risk.

The facilitator may require you to discontinue participation if continuing is considered unsafe.

5. Medical Disclosure and Emergency Information

All participants must disclose relevant medical or psychological conditions in writing prior to acceptance into the programme.
This includes (but is not limited to) injuries, chronic illness, pregnancy, mobility restrictions, or mental health diagnoses.

If an emergency arises during a session, the facilitator will follow basic first-aid protocol and, if needed, contact emergency services.
Participants agree to provide accurate emergency contact information at the time of intake.

Failure to disclose relevant information may result in removal from the programme.

6. Environment and Equipment

Participants are responsible for ensuring their environment and equipment are safe and suitable for practice.
For In-Person sessions, you will be provided with:

  • A 6mm thick Yoga Mat
  • Yoga Bolster
  • Yoga Block(s)
  • 2x Blanket Options (Light and Soft; and a Traditional Yoga Blanket)

For Online Zoom sessions, please have access to:

  • A yoga mat or equivalent non-slip surface.
  • Supportive props such as 1-2 blocks, 1 bolster, and 1 blanket.
  • Sufficient water for hydration.

The facilitator may request adjustments to ensure a safe and supportive practice environment.

7. Energetic Readiness and Integration

Energetic experiences may arise during or after sessions, including heightened emotion, fatigue, or expanded awareness.
These responses may occur and can be part of the integration process.

Participants are encouraged to:

  • Rest, hydrate, and ground after sessions.
  • Journal or reflect on insights that surface.
  • Reach out via text message or email for brief post-session clarification if needed (within reasonable boundaries).

If intense emotional responses persist, participants are encouraged to seek professional therapeutic or medical support.

8. Participation Refusal or Termination

The facilitator reserves the right to pause, modify or terminate a participant’s involvement if:

  • Health or safety concerns arise that cannot be safely managed within the class setting.
  • Behaviour disrupts the integrity or safety of the facilitator.
  • False or incomplete health information has been provided.

In such cases, the facilitator will communicate clearly with the participant and, where appropriate, offer referral or reschedule options in accordance with the Programme Completion & Rescheduling Policy.
